A Black Pure Silk Banarasi Katan with Meenakari work. The traditional Mughal inspired motifs spaced all over the body has meenakari work and so does the border and palla. The border looks unique owing to the use of four colored threads. Against an all black body this multicolored border looks very appealing. The palla gas been played with pink and red tone along with the zari work. Katan as a weave is traditional but this piece has a contemporary appeal.
